Ninja World Lands and Villages

The Five Great Shinobi Countries are the five largest countries and the main focus of the Ninja World. These countries are led by governmental leaders, who are in charge of ruling their individual nations solely through a monarch-like government. These countries are divided equally on an unknown continent to create balance in the shinobi world. They are the Land of Earth in the Northwest, the Land of Lightning in the Northeast, the Land of Water in the East, the Land of Wind in the Southwest, and the Land of Fire in the centre. The countries are named after the dominant chakra nature of each of the areas.

These superpowers are the major players in the politics and trade between the shinobi nations. They are the most powerful of all nations and each has an extremely powerful shinobi village. The Land of Earth has Iwagakure, The Village hidden in the stone, the Land of Lightning has Kumogakure, the village hidden in the clouds, the Land of Water has Kirigakure, the village hidden in the mist, the Land of Wind has Sunagakure, the village hidden in the sand and the Land of Fire has Konohagakure the village hidden in the leaves.

The shinobi villages are not controlled by any government, they are independent and have equal status.

There also exists small lands that are trying ti establish a presence in the Shinobi world by starting their own Shinobi Villages

Konohagakure | The Village Hidden in the Leaves

Konohagakure is the hidden village of the Land of Fire. Konoha resides deep within a forest at the base of a mountain known as the Hokage Rock, which has the faces of all those who have taken the office of Hokage engraved on it.

The standard attire for Konoha shinobi consists of blue or black shirts which may or may not have swirl patterns on the shoulders, along with matching coloured pants under a green flak jacket which also has a red swirl on the back, and pockets on the chest area. They also tend to wrap bandages around their legs. Many Konohagakure ninja use Fire Release techniques.

The Leader of the Hidden Leaf Village is known as the Hokage.

The Current Hokage in Ninja World is: Shikado Nara

Sunagakure | The Village Hidden in the Sand

Sunagakure is the hidden village of the Land of Wind. Being surrounded by desert offers the village a natural deterrent against invasion, as few foreign powers would be willing to endure the sandstorms and water scarcity common to Suna. Sunagakure itself lies in a fortified valley behind cliffs of rock, with passage in and out of the village restricted to a single cleft between two cliff faces, making the area very hard to attack from the ground. The buildings inside seem to be made of clay or stucco, which would help to keep the buildings cool.

The standard attire for Suna shinobi consists of blue or black uniforms underneath flak jackets of various shades of beige to better blend with their natural environment and include shoulders guards. Headpieces consisting of a head-wrap and cloth neck-covers to protect against the harsh weather are popular with Suna shinobi. Many Sunagakure ninja use Wind Release techniques, which they may or may not perform with fans.

The Current Kazekage in Ninja World Is: Airondre Cloud

Kirigakure | The Village Hidden in the Mist

Kirigakure is the hidden village of the Land of Water. Befitting its name, the village is surrounded by a thick mist, with several mountains in the background, making it difficult to find by foreigners. Kirigakure's architecture is composed of several cylindrical buildings, with the Mizukage's office being the widest and largest. Most of the buildings in the past did have vegetation growing on their roofs until it became more modernised.

The standard attire for Kiri shinobi revolves around a pinstriped material which the shinobi wear as bracers and greaves which merge into their sandals. Underneath this, they wear a full-black shirt and pants over which they wear the villages' standard grey flak jacket. Some also wear waist-guards. Many Kiri ninja use Water Release techniques. Due to the village's high number of missing-nin, Kiri has a subdivision of Anbu known as hunter-nin that are specifically tasked with eliminating these defectors.

Over time, the village became infamously known as the "Village of the Bloody Mist" or "Blood Mist Village" for a cruel reason — in the Kirigakure Academy, students wishing to graduate had to fight to the death, and only those who survived could advance to the ranks of the ninja.

The Fourth Mizukage's reign was a time of darkness for Kiri, with corruption plaguing those in charge and the pursuit of power becoming paramount for many. Defection became widespread amongst Kiri's ranks, with several members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist and even the Six-Tails' jinchūriki, Utakata, abandoning the village. The Academy's graduation methods were discontinued after Zabuza Momochi, not yet a student himself, killed an entire year's graduating class, but by then the Bloody Mist had already tainted the Fourth's reputation.

Years after the Fourth Shinobi World War, during the Sixth Mizukage's era and with the aid of the Fifth, Kiri had become a modern and thriving city, which was now a tourist destination[11] and even more progressed than Konohagakure; they also managed to retrieve the six blades that were lost to defections, thus reinstating the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. Most citizens are brimming with liveliness in a transformed and cheerful village. Despite this, there was still a minority that was both very distrusting and hateful towards outsiders, even some who longed for the old days of the "Blood Mist Village".

Kumogakure | The Village Hidden in the Clouds

Kumogakure  is the hidden village of the Land of Lightning.

The village is located in a range of tall mountains, and is literally hidden in the clouds. The Raikage works in a large blue structure built into the tallest mountain.

The standard attire for Kumo shinobi consists of a long, grey top which gathers just at the waist to give a sash-like appearance, with a matching coloured bottom. Over this they wear white, one-strapped flak jackets and arm as well as shin-guards. Many Kumogakure ninja use Lightning Release techniques.

The Current Raikage in Ninja World Is: Yusa Narukami

Iwagakure | The Village Hidden in the Stone

Iwagakure is the hidden village of the Land of Earth. The rocky mountain ranges that surround the village provide a natural stronghold that it is very proud of. The village's infrastructure is built from much of the surrounding rock and stone, shaped into tower-like structures that are inter-connected by a network of bridges. The Tsuchikage's residence seems to be the tallest structure with a cone-shaped roof and bears the kanji for "Earth" on it.

The standard attire for Iwa shinobi consists of red outfit — which can either have one, or both sleeves — a lapel which is usually found on the side without a sleeve and a brown flak jacket — which also may, or may not have a pouch attached to it. They also tend to wear mesh armour around their ankles. Many Iwagakure ninja use Earth Releasetechniques. Iwagakure is well-known for the rock-hard attitude of its shinobi; as soon as the Tsuchikage gives an order, the Iwa-nin follow it without hesitation, even if it means death

Okamigakure | The Village With the Howling Wolfs

The Howling Wolf Village was once a small, poor village nestled into the moutain ranges. The soil bore great, plentiful harvests of medicinal plants. Time had passed and the village was almost forgotten until Keiko Inuzuka took to a journey with people of her family and her sister at her right hand. Now, the village has expanded into it's own land, becoming the main hub for trading, buying and selling goods of all kinds.

The village also breeds various species of ninja companions, though they mostly breed wolves and vulpines. This was brought along with the Inuzuka heritage and the already thriving wildlife around.

The attire of your average Shinobi cosists of Ox Blood hued headbands, accompanied by black shirts that cover the full torso, coming up to a loose turtle neck and elbow length sleeves. The bottoms are usually black as well as foot wear. Nin are allowed to choose their own style of clothing as long as they rep the headband somewhere on their body.
